The new Bobbi Brownish Nectar & Nude Collection

Truth be told, I was not expecting to see this ray of sunshine when I swung by the Bobbi Brown counter at the mall today.

I was but stopping by to spritz a niggling Beach on my wrist (seriously, on a cold day, that stuff is better than an electric blanket), merely then I spotted this express edition collection…

Clockwise from the round pan in the lower left: the limited edition Pot Rouge for Lips & Cheeks in Hibiscus ($26); limited edition Nectar & Nude Eye Palette ($48); limited edition Glitter Nail Polish in Bare Peach ($15); and the express edition Lip Glosses in Nectar, Nude Pink and Bare Peach ($25 each). It reminds me of 2012's Neons & Nudes drove (call back that one?), but with peach and coral instead of royal and hot pink.

I do wish the eyeshadows weren't then…well, nude. I would've loved to run across some darker, richer browns, simply that's probably only my tan talking ("Please, Bobbi! Don't brand me have to utilise so many layers!"). Lighter lasses should be able to pull off these shades (and do great things with them) more hands.

In that location's besides a Shimmer Brick and one more Nail Polish in the collection (hither's the whole shebang at bobbibrowncosmetics.com), but they weren't in that location at the counter today.

In other news, "Do non disturb! I'm marathoning House of Cards!"

Not gonna prevarication, I've been looking forward to watching this all solar day long!

Season ii is out on Netflix. I started marathoning it terminal weekend, and I've already experienced more than than one moment where I sat there completely frozen with my mouth agape on the couch thinking, "OMG! Did that? Really? Just happen?!"

I gotta give kudos to Netflix. I did not think they'd be able to pull off a second season equally expert as the first one, but and then far, and then practiced (I'thou about three episodes in). I call up it's only also-written equally anything I've e'er seen on HBO or AMC.
